How to Choose a Vertical Jump Program

Choosing a vertical jump program can be a tricky task, especially with the ever growing number of programs that are emerging on the market. There are a couple key factors that you should consider when sifting through your options that will help you make the best possible decision.

I believe that one of the best pieces of information that you can follow when choosing a vertical jump program is a personal reference. Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to use this, but knowing someone who has used a program and seen great success with it is a great place to start. Make sure that the said person actually used the program and gained as much as they claimed. Don’t follow references blindly, as people love to talk the talk without having actually walked the walk. If you do not have a personal reference don’t worry, there are many other factors to look into.

A great place to find information about vertical jump programs and people’s results with them is on the internet. However, you need to be very careful what information you base your decisions on, as there is a lot of junk out there that is written by people who have never used or ever read the first page of the vertical jump program they are talking up. When reading reviews look for assurance that the person has actually read the program and is not just reviewing it blindly, which unfortunately happens a lot on the web. Look for specific and accurate details regarding the content of the program and the workouts. If the review is so general that anyone could have written it without actually buying and going through the program, it is probably not trustworthy. There are a couple of legit review sites so don’t fear them all, but know that more are illegitimate that legitimate. Forums can be a fantastic place to find information from real people about their experiences with specific vertical jump programs. However, even here advertising and blind promotion happens, so always be on guard. Just remember that the more personal and specific the information is about either the vertical jump program or a person’s experience with the program is, the more likely it is to be legitimate.

As a quick note, generally ignore testimonials that are placed directly on the home page of a specific vertical jump program. An unfortunate trend of inflated and more than likely untrue testimonials by vertical jump programs exists on the sites of many programs, dating all the way back to the days when the Air Alert series ruled the vertical jump world. It is unfair to programs that use legitimate testimonials, but I would recommend avoiding them as there is no way to verify them as truthful.

Once you have narrowed your options down to two or three programs I would recommend look into the credibility of the author. Never buy a program if you have suspicions about the author. Also compare prices of your final few programs. Price can be a tricky topic, because while some programs will be more expensive, they may also be a better investment. As a general recommendation, try not to let price influence your decision unless you truly cannot afford a certain program. You should try to find and purchase the best jump program out there for you, whether it runs you ten dollars or three hundred. If you decide you can’t afford the program you really think is best for you, there is nothing wrong with trying out a cheaper alternative or even finding a free program online. Remember, it is your will and determination that will give you results in the end, not how expensive the vertical jump program you used was.

Follow the above information closely and you will find a great vertical jump program that suits your needs perfectly. As a final tip, if you purchase and try out a program and it does not work for you, don’t hesitate to try another. Everyone responds differently to different programs, so do not be discouraged if you fail to gain many inches using a certain program. And remember that you will only benefit from using a vertical jump program if you have the proper determination, diet, sleeping habits, put in max effort, and have great workouts. Only going half way won’t get you anywhere near where you want to be.
